A. Stradling Demi-Hunter
Item #0331
Here is a Demi-Hunter in EXCELLENT CONDITION!! The single sunk dial has black Roman numerals and looks great. No hairlines or anything else that I can see. It has blue spade hour and minute whip hands. There is corrosion on the minute whip hand. The gilt movement is signed "A. Stradling, NEWBURY". A. Stradling is listed as the Watch maker in Baillie's book on Fusee's. All of the hallmarks are on the inside of the swing out case and also on the inside of the Demi-Hunter part of the case. The silver case is also in EXCELLENT CONDITION!! It has engine turning on both front and back, and the back has a shield without initials. Mr. Stradling was a watch maker from 1866 until 1891. This would make a FABULOUS GIFT!!!!
$485.00 (USD - includes standard U.S.P.S. first class shipping and insurance)
