Here is a REAL piece of History. A
Waltham 18 size, 15 Jewel, KWKS, Wm. Ellery, Model 57,
called “the soldiers watch”. Just think this may have
been carried in the Civil War. WOW!!! It has a single
sunk porcelain dial that looks PERFECT to me. It has
black Roman numerals and is signed in black American
Watch Co. It also has blue spade hands. The full plate
Gilt movement is signed “Wm. Ellery, Boston Mass.” It
comes mounted in a very heavy, 4 oz. I think, Coin
Silver hunting case that is in really nice condition. It
has a shield on the front with NO initials. The original
key is included. It does not get much better!!! SN
171299 Ca. 1864.
